The Global Marketplace for Aircraft Sales

MarketplaceAviation is a free, worldwide online marketplace dedicated to buying and selling aircraft of all types. Whether you are looking for a used Cessna for sale, a Robinson R44 helicopter, an ultralight, a glider, or aviation spare parts, MarketplaceAviation connects you directly with private sellers and professional aviation dealers across every continent.

Sellers can list aircraft for sale free of charge — no commission, no listing fees. Buyers can search and filter listings by aircraft type, manufacturer, price, year, location, engine type, and total flight hours. Our built-in secure messaging system allows direct contact between buyers and sellers without sharing personal email addresses.

MarketplaceAviation supports all categories of civil aviation aircraft: piston singles and twins, turboprop aircraft, business jets, helicopters, light sport aircraft (LSA), ultralight and ULM aircraft, gliders and sailplanes, seaplanes and amphibious aircraft, paramotors, and experimental/homebuilt aircraft.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MarketplaceAviation? ▾
MarketplaceAviation (marketplaceaviation.com) is a free worldwide online marketplace for buying and selling used aircraft, helicopters, ultralights, business jets, light sport aircraft (LSA), gyrocopters, gliders, seaplanes and aviation parts. It was founded in 2026 by five Italian aviators and built by pilots for pilots, with no listing fees, no commission and built-in messaging between buyers and sellers.
Is MarketplaceAviation safe? ▾
We built it with safety first. Seller phone numbers and messaging are visible only to registered members, so bots can't harvest them. First messages that try to move the conversation off the site (emails, links, messenger apps) are flagged with a warning, and links to WhatsApp and Telegram are blocked in every message. There are limits on how many people and messages an account can send. Every listing has a "Report this ad" button, and listings reported by several members are hidden until we review them. Accounts that break the rules are suspended. What we don't do: we don't inspect aircraft and we don't handle the payment between buyer and seller, so always get a pre-buy inspection and pay through an escrow company you choose yourself. The full list is on marketplaceaviation.com/trust-and-safety.
How much does it cost to sell an aircraft? ▾
Listing is free: unlimited listings with 2 photos each, no expiry and no commission on the sale. If you want more visibility you can buy a one-time Boost for a single listing: Standard costs €4.90 for 7 days (up to 4 photos), Premium costs €19.90 for 30 days (up to 7 photos, plus email support with a reply within 24 hours). Boosted listings appear on the home page and at the top of search and category results with a Sponsored badge. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal, and the extra photos stay unlocked after the Boost ends.
How do buyers find my aircraft? ▾
In three ways. Buyers search the site with filters (category, manufacturer, price, year, hours) or browse the category pages. Buyers who save a search get an email when a new listing matches it, so your aircraft can reach them even if they are not on the site that day. And if you boost your listing, it is shown on the home page and at the top of the results.
What types of aircraft can I buy or sell? ▾
All categories of civil aircraft: piston singles (Cessna, Piper, Cirrus), piston twins (Baron, Seneca, DA62), turboprops (TBM, King Air, PC-12), business jets (Citation, Phenom, Learjet), piston and turbine helicopters (Robinson, Bell, Airbus), gyrocopters, light sport aircraft (LSA), ultralights and microlights, gliders, seaplanes, amphibious aircraft and warbirds.
Can I sell aviation parts and equipment? ▾
Yes. You can list aviation parts and equipment for free: engines (Lycoming, Continental, Rotax), propellers, avionics (Garmin, transponders, ADS-B), instruments, landing gear and safety equipment. Parts can be boosted exactly like aircraft, with the same Standard and Premium options.
How do I contact a seller? ▾
Create a free account, then use the built-in messaging to write to the seller. Each conversation is tied to a specific aircraft or part, and registered members can also see the seller's phone number. We don't handle payments between buyers and sellers: never pay through a link received in a chat or on a messaging app.
What countries does MarketplaceAviation cover? ▾
It is open to buyers and sellers from every country. Listings come from sellers in Europe, North America and beyond, and prices can be published in USD, EUR, GBP and other currencies. The site is in English.
Who created MarketplaceAviation? ▾
It was founded in 2026 by five Italian aviators who met at Aeroclub Serristori in Arezzo, Tuscany. Three of them hold a PPL (Private Pilot Licence), the other two, including Daniele Forciniti, the developer, hold a VDS licence for ultralights. The team is now split between Italy and Spain.
